Glen Davis Did Time Forget?

Last week was the monthly photo jaunt with a few close friends, the destination this time was Glen Davis in the Central Tablelands. The drive out that was was mostly uneventful, but for others is must not have been judging by the amount of roadkill that lined the roads. The kit for this trip included:

  • Hasselblad 503CX + 80mm f/2.8
  • Nikon D700
  • Nikon D80IR (720nm conversion)
  • Zoom Nikkor AF-S DX 16-85mm f/3.5-5.6G VR
  • Tamron Adaptall-2 SP 17mm f/3.5
  • Tamron Adaptall-2 25mm f/2.5
  • Voigtlander Ultron 40mm f/2 SL IIN
  • Voigtlander Nokton 58mm f/1.4 SL II
  • Tamron Adaptall-2 SP 90mm f/2.5 Macro

As per the normal rules, everything that was brought out saw use. It was a great change to be using the odd ball collection of primes on the D700. The older Adaptall2 lenses do not give up anything on digital cameras, they really are underrecognized and overlooked too often. The Voigtlander lenses are simply good lenses, modern built lenses with the feel and character of their classic lens designs, defintiely worth a try.

Without any more boring details, here are some pictures, remember to click through for larger and to see the rest of the album.
